These pictures are really cool, I especially like the first, the fifth and the sixth. These pictures are the most surreal and thought provoking, the picture with the eyes is the coolest out of all of them. I think you should do more of these crazy looking pictures in the future.
I love the direction you took with nature. The last one is my favorite because you added elements of OP art, while still retaining the original beauty of the photo. Keep experimenting with the sky. With the wood and I think maybe cabbage you really captured their unique texture.
i agree that the natural textures offer something special. the fade with the original images works in some cases, but can also take away some of the mystery. it works, i think, when it provides additional texture and surface, rather than content. experiement with a new batch.
