For this project I decided to revisit my series of Avedon style photographs and make a few more. I kept his technique of serious, black and white photos. These portraits are intended to bring a more real connection rather than posed and smiling. This is another draft of portraits to go into the final collection of my Richard Avedon segment.
i really like these photos i think you did the portiats very well. they really capture what the y are feeling that day or time, just like how the photographer explained int that movie we watched. these photos are very well done!
ReplyDeleteI really like your first photo of Chloe. It's a beautiful picture of her and a great photo on your part. She really pops out with the white background. I also like how it is cropped so that she is the main focus of the photo. The rest of your photos are amazing too, I can really tell that you enjoy taking portraits. Great work!
ReplyDeleteThese are great. I think you really captured Avedon's style with these portraits. Nobody in these pictures are showing fake emotions for the camera, it's all very real.
ReplyDeleteI like your editing choices. Each expression really shows a hidden truth about the models. They go past just the exterior surface. I also like the fact that every face has a kind of sad look to it. I can tell you were influenced by Richard Avedon.
